吉祥物从1972年的慕尼黑开始，每届奥运会都拥有着自己的吉祥物。到2020年将要举办第32届奥运会的东京，吉祥物的历史已经走过了48个年头。当年的北京奥运会吉祥物福娃，灵感来源于奥运五环进而演变成的“北京欢迎你”，对于国人颇具有意义。
东京奥运会的入围的三个作品分别是配有奥运会会徽图案的富有未来感的机器人;被视为神明使者的狐狸和石狮子;经常出现在日本民间故事里的狐狸和狸子。
在今年的3月份，日本揭晓了2020年东京奥运会和残奥会得吉祥物，而这次吉祥物的诞生是由日本全国小学生投票选出，这在奥运会上还是首次。在奥组委给出的3套方案中，最终下面这个方案以109041票从候选的3个方案中胜出。
蓝色吉祥物命名为Miraitowa为东京奥运会吉祥物寓意充满永恒希望的未来;樱色吉祥物命名为Someity为东京残奥会吉祥物，寓意克服障碍挑战极限

奥运会场地东京新国立竞技场是日本计划中修建的主场。位于日本东京都，将由国立霞丘陆上竞技场重建而来，预定2019年启用。该体育场被选为2020年夏季奥林匹克运动会及2020年夏季残疾人运动会的主场馆，举办开闭幕式、田径等项目。计划容纳8万人，在2014年拆除以前的体育场，2015年开工，预计2019年秋季完工，2020年正式启动。

开幕式和闭幕式都将在东京新国立竞技场举行。
此次2020东京奥运会将会有史上最多的33大类，共339个比赛项目，更是比往届的奥运会新增了五大项——攀岩、棒垒球、空手道、冲浪及滑板，共设十八枚金牌，以上五项仅出现在东京奥运会中。另外，还特别增加了兵乓球混合双打赛。所有比赛分布在以东京为主的关东和东北地区共42个会场。

Tips：1、在赛事期间公共交通预计会比平时拥挤，所以大家出行的时候一定要提前预留多一些时间。
签证票买好了，签证也不能落下!2019年日本签证新政策，日本签证再简化。
1、单次签证
中国1243所教育部所属大学的在校生(原来是75所，现在是所有本科高校)，或是毕业3年内，提供在学或者学历证明，无需经济证明，就可以办理单次签证，最长停留30天。对于资金有限的学生朋友们，实在太友好啦!
2、多次签证
过去3年，如曾2次以上赴日，无需经济证明，即可申请3年多次往返。一直被卡在年收入和银行流水上的小伙伴们，现在终于可以轻松get多年签证了。
Tips：
凡是申请日本三年多次自由行往返签证，从签证生效日起，3个月内必须出行一次，否则签证将作废!
1964年。东京奥运会是奥林匹克运动会的大型国际综合体育赛事之一，自1896年起每四年举办一次。而最近一届东京奥运会则是在2021年举行的（因疫情原因延期）。而回到历史上，上一届东京奥运会距离2023年已经过去了相当长一段时间。
